MB Calendar (June) - "Pearl"

This was my part of a calendar project organised by Hanel over at Manga Bullet. (I never did find out what happened with that...O.o) The month I drew was June, so, I wanted to make a summery, warm image.

After a little digging, I decided to incorporate the pearl into the design since that's June's birthstone, which kinda limited me to setting the picture on a beach.

The face looks a bit... odd... but overall, I'm really pleased with how this came out. : )
